Environment Week 21st – 27th June 2025
What inspires and sustains us in this time of anxiety about the climate? Our passion for peace and justice embraces both the people we share the planet with and the Earth itself.
The narrative around climate change is often one of despair. But this overlooks a series of recent advances in technological innovation, policy development, widespread protest and landmark legal victories. All this has echoes of the words of Arundhati Roy “Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing”.
During this environment week we will discover tools to raise our spirits, and change our climate anxiety into climate action.
If you want to deepen your connection with the Divine amidst the white sands, turquoise blue waters and wild flowers of Iona in midsummer, this is the week for you.
