Creation Retreat

Led by Paula Pearce – In this retreat you will explore the rich Franciscan theological tradition concerning the Trinity and Creation, focusing on the extravagance of the love and goodness of God and the humility of God in the life of Jesus of Nazareth.For Franciscan theologians Christ is the centre, the one towards whom the universe is oriented. Incarnation involves the whole created order. 

“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;  for in him all things in heaven and on earth were created, things visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or powers—all things have been created through him and for him,” (1 Col: 15-16) 

You will explore Beauty in the Franciscan Tradition. At this time of global crisis, how might we respond to the extravagance of God’s love?
